Kibbles Kitchen 
Welcome to our community outreach program for Pets...yes we said pets...
Humans
get everything, but the pets never are given a second thought when you
need an extra hand, so Kibbles kitchen is here to fill that need......
We
help those who need a helping hand, we help feed the family pets for up
to 3 months, we provide dry food can food and treats, cat litter when
it is available and every once in awhile we supply bowls, and toys....
If you know someone that needs help to feed their pets, let them know the kitchen is open, and can help.....
Kibbles Kitchen wants to be part of the no more homeless pets solution....
Food, Litter, and treats for the program are donated to the K9 Resque by the generosity of our community partners; therefore we cannot guarantee that these items will always be available.
To Be eligible for the "Kibbles Kitchen" program, you must qualify as "Low Income", be a current participant in 2 state/federal assistance programs, or experiencing financial hardship due to the current economic situation.( WIC is no longer a eligible program) You must be a Michigan Resident, and be able to produce a Driver's License or Michigan ID card, no exceptions. Food will only be distributed once per month, for all participants. ****We will not accept new owners of pets, this program was created to help those who have had their pets for at least 7 months or more, and are in need of assistance to keep their pets in their homes****
Please be sure to complete our new online application for the "Kibbles Kitchen " Program. If the form is not filled out in full it will not be accepted and no one will contact you. Phone calls are for messages only, and phone calls for the program will only be accepted Mon-Sat between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm.
In 2009, we were able to help feed 100 dogs, 50 cats and one ferret. We supplied 3,363 lbs Dry Dog Food,318 cans of dog food. 633 lbs of Dry Cat Food, 292 cans of Cat food, 13 bags of Kitty litter, 75 bags of Dog treats, & 26 bags of cat treats......... Thank You For Your Support!
